Is It Worth It Vs. What It’s Worth

According to a 2011 Р2012  Remodeling Cost vs. Value Report, homeowners in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. can expect to recoup over 60 percent of their investment in a major kitchen or bathroom remodel with the average cost ranging from $55,000.00 to $60,000.00.

A recent poll of homeowners who had successfully embarked upon a kitchen or bathroom remodel said that the top advice they would give to others is to be flexible about their “dream list” and to hire a professional designer.

You’ll often see me repeating myself on this subject, but it’s an important detail that needs to be made clear to homeowners:
in the long run, you will save money by investing in time spent with a pro who can
develop a clearly-defined budget and realistic goals for your project.
Once you have the facts in front of you, you can make an informed decision.

In my own life and in the lives of my clients,
I’ve learned that fear and stress are each born of ignorance and the unknown.
So eliminate both negative emotions from the coming year by inviting enlightenment and knowledge into your life!
